Election Epicentre: Alliances Battle For Supremacy

AIADMK and the DMK are the two parties that decide the Tamil Nadu politics. with little or no role of the two national parties.the Cong and the BJP. After the death the Karunanidhi and Jayalalithaa - a power vacuum has consumed the state and the outcome has been a battleground for alliances for the 39 Lok Sabha seats with the national parties, the BJP and Congress joining the fray. The BJP has sealed the deal with the AIADMK and the Congress has sealed the deal with the DMK, forming two large blocs which continue to gather allies. The BJP is eyeing the south to boost its numbers at the Centre after the setback in Hindi belt in December 2018 and the DMK is one of the very few allies with which the Congress has managed to form a tangible anti-BJP front. So who has the winning combination in Tamil Nadu? As per the 2014 performance the edge is clearly with the BJP & AIADMK their alliance racking up a 60% vote share, meanwhile the Congress-DMK is at half of that at 30%.
