Election Epicentre: United Opposition Project Crumbling?

For months - the Congress has pushed a narrative that it is uniting with regional satraps to take on the Modi juggernaut and oust it from power in Delhi. As we inch closer to the elections we have gotten many photo-ops of a united opposition - but the reality is that regional satraps are ditching the Congress in their states - Akhilesh and Mayawati have frozen out the Congress in the key state of Uttar Pradesh - The Prajakutami alliance of the TDP and Congress has crumbled after the Telangana loss - both parties will go solo in Andhra - and after skipping Mamata's United India rally in Kolkata - it seems the TMC and Congress will go their separate ways in West Bengal - Congress' mantra for the 2019 polls seems to be a far cry from 'Mazboot Gathbandhan' and is in fact 'Ekla Chalo' - will this help or harm the grand old party and is the grand alliance project close to crumbling?
