Mumbai: An interrogation of arrested members of underworld don Ravi Pujari's gang has revealed that Bollywood directors Mahesh Bhatt and Farah Khan were on their radar. The accused revealed that Pujari had instructed his men to conduct a recce of Farah Khan's residence and also Red Chillies office owned by actor Shahrukh Khan.
The gang had also reportedly been monitoring Mahesh Bhatt's movement for nearly two months. The plot has been revealed by 13 men who were arrested by Mumbai Crime Branch earlier this week.
Earlier in August 2014, Mumbai Police had heightened Shah Rukh Khan's security cover after Pujari had allegedly tried to get in touch with him.
With these arrests, Mumbai police is also claiming to have cracked the case of shooting outside the residence of Bollywood film producer-brothers Karim and Ali Morani.
Five rounds of bullets were fired by unidentified gunmen outside producer Ali Morani's house. Ali is a business associate and close friend of Shah Rukh Khan.
