New Delhi: North Indian continues to bear the brunt of dense fog and cold wave. Several areas have been enveloped in dense fog since late Thursday night disrupting rail and air traffic.
Several trains coming to Delhi or originating for the Capital have been either delayed or cancelled.
Thick fog is expected to remain over Delhi during the day. The minimum temperature in Delhi was eight degree Celsius.
Jammu and Kashmir, too, continues to brave the chill as the mercury dropped to minus five degree Celsius in Srinagar. Chandigarh recorded a minimum of five degree Celsius while Jaipur was comparatively warmer at a minimum of eight degree.
