In 1745, Catholic community’s Palli graveyard was constructed in Kamnathnagar of Bettiah, Bihar. The community book their graves beforehand. Due to an age old tradition and their attachment to their ancestors they tend to book their graves near to their forefather's graves. If someone dies in a foreign country, they also get buried near to their ancestors. Every year the catholic community visit this graveyard and celebrate " All Souls Day" by lighting candles and put garland on the graves of their loved ones.
