Assam-Nagaland border conflict: Chettiya residents flee home, await rehabilitation

Chettiya in Assam presents a sad spectacle after nine villages were burnt to the ground and nine people shot dead by Nagas. Hundreds have fled the area and are now living in relief camps waiting for violence to abate. Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi has ordered a CBI probe into conflict and declared that reconstitution of peace in the area is the government's top priority.
