Havoc Nagaland Flood Havoc: State Government Sought 800 crore rupees

The Nagaland government has sought around 800 crore rupees to repair damages caused by landslides and flash floods. Home and State Disaster Management Authority secretary said the floods have affected at least 13.19 per cent of the state's population and severely affected thousands of families in 532 villages. The calamity has damaged the roads, rendered people homeless and damaged agriculture. The state capital Kohima and three other districts are worst affected.
