Irom Sharmila is taking on Chief Minister Ibobi Singh in Thoubal when Manipur votes next month. Her newly formed party PRJA (People’s Resurgence and Justice) is hoping to make a small dent. Despite slim chances, both Sharmila and volunteers from across the country are running an energetic campaign. PRJA is a political start up, running a crowd funded campaign. On being asked if she had considered the possibility of a loss this election, Irom Sharmila told Anubha Bhonsle that she believed her cause was an achievable one.
