New Delhi: Despite all the talks of professionalism and a new body at the helm, horror stories continue from the Indian hockey management.
Hours after the team missed its flight to Delhi from Pune, the team management have put the blame squarely on Sports Authority of India.
Members of the team as well as the coach have alleged the transport meant to take them to the Pune airport was sent an hour late and later weren't allowed by Kingfisher management to board to flight despite the team reaching the airport half an hour before the takeoff.
The Indian team is scheduled to leave for their Europe tour on Thursday night from Delhi.
The team management is also scheduled to meet injured goalkeeper Baljit Singh in Delhi later on Thursday.
Apart from attending the launch of Hockey India's new logo, India will play four Tests against England and three each against Belgium and Spain.
It will also play two Tests against Holland in Amstelveen during their 25-day Europe tour.
