Infosys Science Awards: Three of the seven awardees are women

Seven of the country's brightest minds gathered together at the 2013 Infosys Prize ceremony - given every year to research in the basic sciences to recognize path breaking, independent work. The prize comprising a citation and a cash prize of Rs. 55 Lakh is a big boost for Indian scientists.
