A war is always seen from a military perspective. Through the Valour and Martyrdom of our soldiers. But a war also needs to be chronicled through the eyes of young children, men and women caught in the cross fire. Shreya Dhoundial visits frontier towns and villages in Kargil that were in the line of fire. A village school that was destroyed thrice by Pakistani shelling , where 13 children had died. A village where 200 people took refuge in a mountain cave to save themselves. A family that escaped being bombed , but still carries the scar and maintains a bunker just in case they have to use it again.
