Kunda: Parveen Azad, wife of the slain Kunda DSP Zia-ul-Haq, is scheduled to depose before the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Sunday. Akshay Pratap, cousin of former cabinet minister Raja Bhaiya, who was forced to resigned after Azad named him in the FIR, was questioned by the investigative agency.

However, Raja Bhaiya is yet to be questioned. Raja Bhaiya is also accused of threatening the family of murdered village pradhan Nanhe Yadav. The Pratapgarh pradhan and his brother were killed along with Haque on March 2.

The Yadav family had claimed they have been threatened to keep silent on the issue by the leader and his aides. One of Raja Bhaiya's close aides, Guddu Singh, who was named by the Pradhan's family members, has been arrested.
