Lithuania marks Gandhi Jayanti with new monument

On Gandhi Jayanti, the Mahatma was honoured not just at home but abroad. The Lithuanian Prime Minister unveiled a monument in Rusne, a small town near the Lithuanian-Russian border. Rusne is the birthplace of Gandhiji's close associate Hermann Kallenbach, with whom he lived in South Africa.
