Junagarh: Heavy rains continue to lash Junagarh in Gujarat bringing relief to the farmers in the area. Drought-hit Junagrah has received around 25 inches of rain in the last one month. 
 
Junagarh was reeling under a drought for a year but now the Willingdon dam is overflowing as a result of rains. 
 
Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Karnataka have also witnessed heavy rains. However, normal life remains unaffected in most of the areas. 
 
The Met department has predicted extreme severe rainfall in parts of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and parts of Maharashtra.
