Harda: Protests against the Indira Sagar Dam in Madhya Pradesh have entered their 14th day. People in Harda were displaced by the Indira Sagar dam. As a mark of protest, they have submerged themselves in neck-deep water.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has ruled out a compromise similar to the one in Khandwa. When asked whether the decision on Khandwa was also applicable for Harda, Chouhan said, "Some decisions are taken on the humanitarian ground but we will not compromise on the issue of water and electricity for the sate."

The Narmada Bachao Andolan is planning to move court.
