Mumbai: Senior police official faces rape charges

New Delhi: In a shocking case, an Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) has been charged with rape in Mumbai.

The FIR was filed by the victim who accused ACP Anil Mahabole of raping her after offering her food laced with sedatives.

The action on the top cop was ordered after a departmental inquiry.
