Communal riots were reported from Bihar's Nawada district on March 30 after an idol of Lord Hanuman was found broken in a temple here. Soon violence spread across various parts of the district as some groups from the state's religious majority community went on rampage destroying shops owned by members of the minority community. Nawada is eighth district in Bihar to have witnessed communal riots in Bihar in the last fortnight.
