Atlanta: Eight-year-old Commor Mcreaddie weighs about 200 pounds. Officials in his hometown in England even debated taking Connor into protective custody to prevent his family from over-feeding him. His mother says that he demands fattening foods all day including a non-stop diet of potato chips, pizzas and burgers. She says that it is hard for her to say no to him. “The worst case would be Connor getting taken into care. He is well cared for, well looked after by the family,” says Connor's mother, Nicola McKeown. For now, Nicola will have her way as it was decided that Connor will stay at home with his mother and grandmother. “I love that little boy so much. Really, I would give my life for him,” says Connor's grandmother, Barbara Blake. “I am not saying that they can't care for him, but what they're doing is, through the way they are treating him and feeding him, they are slowly killing him,” says the doctor Back in 2000, New Mexico officials took custody of then three year-old Anamarie Regino. She weighed 124 pounds. Anamarie was returned to her parents after just a couple months. By fourth grade she was 5 feet 5 inches and weighed 250 pounds. Unlike Connor’s, her family has always maintained they don't feed her too much. They said that she is a healthy big girl.
