Columbia University professor Arvind Panagariya's appointment as the Vice Chairman of the NITI Aayog means he'll be home after 40 years. His family says he will work hard to improve India's economy and boost growth across the country. His brother said, "Overwhelmed at my brother's appointment as Vice Chairman of NITI Aayog. I believe he will work towards adding to GDP, reducing inflation, providing basic necessities to the common man besides development to infrastructure and manufacturing sector which he's very much interested in."
