Mumbai: Imran Khan, Farhan and Zoya Akhtar took time out to unwind after participating in the 200th stage show of The Vagina Monolgues in Mumbai on Wednesday night.
The play directed by Mahabanoo and Kaizaad Kotwal held at the Tata Theatre in NCPA ran to a packed audience and though it didn't show-the stars were quite nervous about their live performance.
“It was pretty good I was a bit nervous, my heart was trembling but once some time passed I was okay , I haven't really got any time to get some feed back , so I will do it now,” Imran Khan.
“I was bit nervous it wasn't that I was performing I was reading a poem but I was bit nervous but then I got in there,” Zoya Akhtar.
The special show was also held in celebration of VDAY-a worldwide campaign to end violence against women.
“It started as a play, then it was news and then it became a movement , its heart warming to see Haseena and others getting so much hype and very sweet of Imran Farhan and Sandip to come join us,” says actor Jyati Bhatia. Here's more power to these stars for pushing the cause.
