Union Minority Affairs Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi announced that the BJP-Led central govern,ent will provide scholarships to 5 crore students belonging to the minority communities in next 5 years. The new government measure is aimed at lowering dropout rates of girl students of the minority community. The scholarships will be provided through various mediums which also include Maulana Azad Education Foundation, which Naqvi said will provide 10 lakh scholarships.
