Tonk in Rajasthan is now an election hotspot after state Congress president Sachin Pilot decided to contest Assembly polls from the constituency. In response, BJP dropped their incumbent MLA from Tonk and fielded Yunus Khan, their only Muslim candidate in Rajasthan elections, against Pilot. Tonk has a majority Muslim population.
