As thousands of people start to get worried about the rising water level of the Kosi river in Bihar, triggering fear of a probable situation in 2008 when the state wide floods had rendered many homeless, Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad assuaged fears by saying that 117 relief shelters have been constructed and 40,000 people have been evacuated. The Minister assured that the government is fully prepared for all eventualities.
