Right To Privacy A Fundamental Right, Rules Supreme Court

A nine-judge Constitution bench of the Supreme Court has unanimously declared Right to Privacy as a fundamental right guaranteed under Article 21 and Part 3 of the Constitution of India. The historic verdict will now have a bearing on other key verdicts, including the ones on the validity of Aadhaar and the ruling on Section 377 which criminalises gay sex.
