No mechanisms in place to ensure schools comply with Right to Education Act

The Right to Education is a fundamental right of all children. But even five years after the Act came into effect, many parents have to move from pillar to post. The government has failed to put mechanisms in place to ensure schools comply or even have a monitoring system in place. There is not even a grievance redressal system for aggrieved parents.
