Bandhavgarh: A South Korean national has alleged that she was raped by a hotel manager in Bandhavgarh in Madhya Pradesh. An FIR has been registered in Aurangabad.
The 22-year-old South Korean student alleged that her drink was laced with a sedative and then she was raped by the hotel manager. She could not register a complaint in Bandhavgarh.
The student also mentioned that she had come to India and visited various tourist spots in the country. On January 29, her bag containing camera, cellphone and cash was also allegedly stolen from the railway station area in Aurangabad, according to police.
Later, she narrated the alleged offence in MP to a tourist guide, who suggested that she file a complaint with police.
Aurangabad Assistant Commissioner of Police Naresh Meghrajani said the woman would be sent to the concerned police station in MP under police security today for further investigation in the case.
