Sanjay Mujoo, VP, Hewlett Packard talks about the importance of water conservation. He also told us how HP is bringing a lot of changes in the way they do business. They are helping customers by developing IoT technologies and platforms for agriculture where 60-70% of water is actually getting wasted. This water may not be used at all and it may be not required at all. Hence, they are bringing in sensory data which tells them the moisture level in the soil which then determines how much water is required and at what time. This will enable conservation in a sector which is using most of the water today.
