New Delhi: Tara Sahdev's mother-in-law has been arrested in the alleged forcible conversion case of the national level shooter.
Sahdev's husband, Ranjit Kohli alias Raqibul Hasan had already been arrested by a joint team of the Delhi and Jharkhand Police on Tuesday and is scheduled to be produced at a court in Dwarka on Wednesday morning. Kohli will then be flown to Ranchi.
Sahdev had accused Kohli of misleading her into marriage on a fake identity and then forcing her to convert to Islam.
Following the incident, right-wing outfit Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) had held massive protests across Jharkhand.
The Home Ministry had sought a report over the matter.
