Mumbai: Filmmaker Onir’s new movie Sorry Bhai starring Chitrangada Singh, Sanjay Suri and Sharman Joshi is a love triangle but with a twist that has never before been seen in Hindi cinema. It is about falling in love with your brother's fiancée. This is a bit too audacious for the Indian audience perhaps. “It is not told in a way that we are trying to shock people. Even the tagline of the film - come fall in love with your brother’s bride; it’s naughty, it’s cool. It is not scandalous and so I feel it is inviting,” says Sorry Bhai director Onir. “It is fun walking on the less treaded path. There is no hiding away from the fact,” says actor Sanjay Suri. “It happens to people. We don’t talk about it probably because it is not the right thing to do the way we are showing in the film is that it happens. Isn’t it better not to be pretentious and tradition but to be honest and upfront about it,” says actor Chitrangda Singh. And if the rumours are to be believed, Sorry Bhai is inspired from the Hollywood flick Dan In Real Life, which also deals with the same subject in a humorous manner. But filmmaker Onir denies the allegation. “I registered the script of my film in early 2005 and Shabana and Sharman agreed to do the film in early 2007 and Dan In Real Life was released in late 2007. I didn’t bother after that,” explains the director. So who gets the bride, Sanjay Suri or Sharman Joshi; people will have to wait till the movie released on November 28.
