Thousands of passengers were stranded as SpiceJet cancelled many of its flights on Wednesday morning. SpiceJet operations were grounded for the second day on Wednesday after oil companies stopped their fuel supply over non-payment and said that they will only supply fuel if immediate cash is paid. MoS for Civil Aviation Mahesh Sharma said, "We understand problems passengers are facing, government is taking decision in wider interest of passenger."
