Mumbai: Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan was injured while shooting for an upcoming film in Juhu and was rushed to the Nanavati hospital here.
Shah Rukh, 48, suffered the minor injury while shooting for Farah Khan's 'Happy New Year' at a five-star hotel here, sources said.
According to reports, a hotel door crashed on him following which he started bleeding and was rushed to the hospital. Shooting was temporarily stopped. A statement issued by the actor's team said the actor had suffered a minor injury.
"Mr Khan had a minor accident on the sets while shooting. He has a minor injury and has got the necessary medical aid. He is absolutely fine now. Thank you for all your wishes!," the statement said
Shah Rukh will be seen with Deepika Padukone in Farah Khan's 'Happy New Year'. Nanavati hospital's casualty department said he was in physiotherapy. (With inputs from PTI)
