It's a big day for Sabarimala tomorrow. The Supreme Court will hear a clutch of writ petitions and review pleas against allowing women into the Sabarimala temple. Despite the SC verdict of Sep 28, no female devotee has been allowed to enter Sabarimala. The real intentions of the blockers comes through in their petition that says men’s ‘vritha’ will be broken if women between 10 and 50 enter the shrine. Isn’t this patriarchy being fanned for political gain. Is the deity’s rule plea only a ruse to ensure rule of men?
