New Delhi: Welcoming the Supreme Court's verdict upholding the death sentence awarded to 26/11 convict Ajmal Kasab, the father of NSG commando Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who died fighting the terrorists involved in the gruesome attack, said that he was satisfied with the judgement. 
 
"I welcome the judgement. I request the President to expedite the punishment and dispose off his mercy petition." 
 
Unnikrishnan was killed fighting terrorists in Mumbai's Taj Mahal Palace and Tower Hotel. 
 
Unnikrishnan's parents live in Bangalore. His father K Unnikrishnan is a retired officer of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).
