New Delhi: Urmila Matondkar and Shiamak Davar were in the capital for the launch of a reality show, which will hunt for the next celluloid Superstars.

They gave aspiring actors all the tips they need to be and behave like a superstar.

Rule number one - come in a good one-hour late because that’s what they call glamorously late.

Rule number two - flutter your eyelashes and exercise your jaw muscles to sport your best smile.

Rule number three - strike the most unusual pose in front of the shutterbugs.

When asked what they think are the ingredients that go into concocting that showbiz icon, here is what they had to say.

“It’s like when you walk into a room and people just know it that a star has arrived or they don’t,” Urmila said and added, “Talent, creativity, hard work and it is tremendous mental strength.”

“Hard work, hard work, hard wok,” Shiamak Davar said.

And when asked about a Godfather, Urmila said, “I don’t think you need a godfather, mother or uncle. For that matter the fact that I am here after almost a decade proves it.”

Meanwhile, Urmila and Shiamak zeroed in on the same person who came to their mind when they thought of a superstar.

“Amitabh Bachchan,” Shiamak said.

Urmila added, “Well not one but Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and the great Dilip Kumar definitely come to my mind.”
