Incidents of sexual harassment in college campuses are coming to fore as more and more students have come out to expose predators who disguise themselves as professors and educationists. Earlier this year, eight female students of the JNU lodged complaints against Professor Atul Johri. Even before that case could meet its logical end, an audio clip of a Tamil Nadu college professor has gone viral in which she is purportedly heard asking students and scholars to provide sexual favours to university officials in exchange for degrees and money. She was even heard claiming that she has access to Tamil Nadu governor - Banwarilal Purohit, who is also the university’s Chancellor.
