The Thomson Reuters Foundation released a report that ranked India as the most dangerous nation for women. The report indicating that it is safer for women to live in a war-torn country like Syria - which has seen widespread human rights violations - than to live in India. This has even spiraled into a political issue - with Congress President Rahul Gandhi tweeting that the Prime Minister is busy making videos about yoga, while women in India suffer. We put forth questions to the Thomson Reuters Foundation to understand what kind of data they used to come to such a conclusion.
