Amid the extraordinary crisis in flood-ravaged Kerala, we've seen humanity stand tall. Ordinary citizens like fishermen have become heroes by saving countless lives. There are the heroes in uniform, who have come to the rescue of stranded citizens in the remotest of places. But there are somewith bigoted mindsets who have reared their heads and claimed that the calamity was spurred by 'Malayalis who ate beef'. Others are asking people to not donate to 'a place with so many Muslims and Christians'.
