The apex court on Tuesday modified its earlier order and made it optional for the cinema halls to play the national anthem. The court also issued guidelines to display the national flag on screens and for everyone to stand for those 52 seconds. However, some people are of the opinion that standing up for the national anthem should not be made mandatory. How about just showing respect for 52 seconds and ending the debate on nationalism completely? Who defines your patriotism?
