VHP's Ram Rajya Rath Yatra, which was flagged off in Ayodhya last month entered Tamil Nadu under tight security. The yatra will go through Tirunelveli district onto Rameswaram and finally reach Kanyakumari. But the yatra is facing stiff opposition from the DMK and its president MK Stalin. Stalin walked out of state assembly along with his DMK MLAs and staged a road roko outside the secretariat and raised slogans against the Tamil Nadu as a mark of protest. However, they were detained by the police. Actor-turned-politician Kamal Haasan also accused the state government of dancing to someone else's tune by allowing this procession with a divisive political agenda.
