Water Woes: Did TN Govt Ignore Warning Signs?

It's the worst water crisis chennai has faced in years. The four reservoirs that supply water to the city are almost empty. Residents are struggling and increasingly depending on private water tankers to meet their daily demand. The Tamil Nadu government however is still in denial. State Minister SP Velumani claims the stories of water shortage have been 'manufactured'. The state govt is setting up a monitoring committee to take up water supply related issues.
