Will The Right To Privacy Force A Change In Existing Controversial Laws?

It's been termed a historical day in Indian jurisprudence and action by the Supreme Court. The Right to Privacy ruled by the Apex Court of the land as a Fundamental Right. Cited as the constitutional core of human dignity. Massive implications to this ruling arise from the clause that that all previous legislations and laws that violate the Right to Privacy will have to be reworked. The court particularly pointed at laws banning homosexuality and abortion. Principles of the government's ambitious Aadhaar plan will also need to be overhauled.
