Bishop Accused Of Rape, But Kerala Church Still Features Him On 2021 Calender

Protesters hit the streets in Kerala’s Kottayam, Kollam, Pala and burnt copies of the 2021 calendar. The calendar featured a photo of the former bishop of Jalandhar, Franco Mullakal, now a rape accused. The calendar was issued by the Thrissur Archdiocese under Syro Malabar Church. According to protesters, every year the church issues calendars to its followers for a nominal charge.
