As India’s ‘free vaccination’ policy kicked off on June 21, India’s vaccination rate soared to its highest ever. Ever since June 21, the daily vaccination numbers have been fluctuating. The slowdown comes at a time when the states and the Centre are in a tussle over supply of doses. At a sluggish vaccination rate, will India be able to inoculate the entire population by the end of 2021?
