After Covid-19, Pakistan is grappling with the rapid surge of dengue cases in the country. Hospitals across many provinces in Pakistan are running short of beds after dengue cases surged at an alarming rate. Hospitals across Punjab, Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces are even refusing to take dengue patients. Meanwhile, Provincial govt in Pakistan’s Punjab has reportedly declared a medical emergency at Lahore public health facilities.
