Mumbai: It was expected. Several devotees thronged Lalbaugcha Raja on Thursday to offer prayers on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. The 10-day long Ganeshotsav is celebrated with great fervour and devotion at temples, homes, and several pandals across India, but the scale at which it is commemorated in Maharashtra is obviously huge.
