New Delhi: A Raja's former additional personal secretary Aseervatham Achary on Monday stood by his statements in a 2G court under Section 164 of the CrPC, which counts as admissible evidence in court. He told the 2G court that DMK MP Kanimozhi was a frequent visitor to Raja's office and residence when he was the IT minister.
Achary also said that Unitech's Sanjay Chandra and DB Group's Shahid Balwa and Vinod Goenka were known to A Raja from his days as environment minister.
Achary in his testimony said that Sanjay Chandra, Shahid Balwa and Vinod Goenka used to meet a Raja when he was environment minister in relation to environmental clearance required for big real estate projects in which these companies were involved.
Achary reiterated that Raja, Kanimozji, Shahid Balwa, Vinod Goenka and Sanjay Chandra were all part of the 2G conspiracy.
"A Raja allocated spectrum by Tamil Nadu's ration shop mechanism," said Achary.
Achary had earlier Identified Raja's signature in letter to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh advocating a first-come, first-serve basis in the allocation of spectrum.
