Hyderabad: After the dismal performance of the Congress in the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh, a pandemonium broke out on Tuesday at the Congress meeting in Hyderabad.
Some party leaders said that the local workers were neglected by the Congress and that is why the campaign wasn't very effective in the state.
However, Congress's spokesperson Renuka Chowdhury claimed that workers were agitated because despite the creation of Telangana there were no electoral dividends.
She also added that the party workers feel they have let down Congress President Sonia Gandhi. "The workers feel that they have let down Sonia Gandhi. They want to convey this message to the high command," she said.
