HC puts Centre in a Spot Over President's Rule in Uttarakhand

A battery of top lawyers from Delhi descended in Nainital to defend imposition of the President's Rule in Uttarakhand. The lawyers were led by the Attorney General of India. But even the cooler climes of the hill station hasn't brought any relief for the Centre. The Uttarakhand High Court for the last three days has grilled the top law officers of the country on the intent and legality of dismissing Harish Rawat government.
