Saifai: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be attending the wedding of Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav's grandnephew and Mainpuri MP Tej Pratap Yadav in Saifai on Saturday.
Mulayam's grandnephew and RJD President Lalu Prasad's daughter Raj Lakhsmi will be tying the knot in Saifai.
This is one of the most talked about political weddings in the recent times as the two strong leaders forge family relations. The 'Tilak' ceremony was held on Friday.
Mulayam, his brother and state minister Shivpal Singh Yadav and nephew Dharmendra Yadav are camping in Saifai to personally oversee the preparations for the ceremony which is expected to be attended by the who's who of national politics, cine world and trade and business circles.
Special arrangements were being made for the Prime Minister and his ministerial colleagues who are expected to attend the function. The dignitaries are scheduled to land at the airstrip in Saifai from where they will cover a distance of about 11 km by road to reach the venue of ceremony and barricades have been put up all through the way.
