New Delhi: CPI(M) leader Mohd Salim criticised the UPA on Friday saying that the crisis managers of the coalition failed.
"Crisis managers of the UPA failed. There was no understanding between the Congress and the TMC, and within TMC, there were two divergent views. The leaders and MPs cannot do anything without green signal from writers. Evidently the Lok Sabha MPs were told something else and the Rajya Sabha MPs were told something else. You support the Bill in the Lok Sabha and then reject it in the Rajya Sabha... you could have opposed it in the Cabinet."
